  Hey all! As of recently, I've finished BBC's Sherlock. And wow. Just wow. What an amazing show, with a great cast of characters and incredible acting and twists that will blow your mind. From here on out, I must issue a huge spoiler warning for the content ahead.   IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.   You don't want to be spoiled, I assure you.   Now, on with the post!   I want to take some time and honor the three finest women of the Sherlock; Molly, Mary, and Mrs. Hudson. I usually don't like a whole lot of women in fiction, as some really fall flat as characters. But these three are so diverse and wonderful I can't help but love them. I also noticed how none of them are exceptionally "beautiful", like Irene Adler. They're average looking, but they show that looks aren't everything.                                            ...

 Here's May's soundtrack! Enjoy! Astro Boy (2009) by John Ottman and Jeffery Schindler   I know this one is completely out of left field for probably 90% of you reading this, maybe more. Most of what I've done so far has been fairly widely known, so this one is a little off track. Even though this movie is now ten years old (I saw it when it came out), I still thoroughly enjoy this movie. When I simply want a nice, comforting movie to watch, this is what I pick.    But the story also has an amazing soundtrack to go with it. It somehow manages to be both very fun and extremely serious, much like the movie. The Opening Theme never fails to give me goosebumps. Choir is a huge part of this soundtrack, which I'm a sucker for when it's used correctly.   This is coming in a little late in the month, but I've finally got it up and going. So enjoy this month's soundtrack pick! Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer   Adventure and romance on the high seas await in these thrilling music pieces. Based off the Disneyland ride of the same name, Pirates of the Caribbean has since become a five- movie franchise, with its theme song, He's a Pirate becoming its signature flagship (see what I did there?) for each film. The reason I chose the first installment is, well, it's the first and probably the best. Anyway, you can't tell me the theme doesn't make you feel invincible.    Each piece in Curse of the Black Pearl is it's own scene, able to tell a complete story without using words. Have you ever been to a jazz concert?   I hadn't either, until a few weeks ago. I live in a relatively small town, where the biggest entertainment is the county fair and the local  movie theater. Also, being an introvert, I typically spend my weekend nights indoors, catching up on a show or watching a movie, with my siblings for company.    However, once a month, I get out and take a swing dancing class. It's one of my favorite things in the world to do. This is my fourth year taking classes, and I'm still very in love with it. It's so much fun, and comes from the throwback era of the forties. I get to hang out with friends and simply have a good time.    Anyway, I take my classes in the next town over, where there is a junior college.
