About Me

About Me

  Hello there!
  (General Kenobi)

For those of you who got the reference, I guess that tells you something about me. For those who didn't, that's OK and I want to be your friend anyway. I've never had very many friends, until recent years and I'm very blessed to have them.
As you might already know, I'm a Christian, first and foremost. It's sometimes hard to balance both my faith and writing, and I've had to scrap ideas before because of it. If you are too, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about.
My favorite time period is the anywhere from 1920s to the 1950s. How I wish I could live in those tomes! As a result, I love old jazz, swing dancing, and dresses. I've currently been taking dancing lessons for almost three years now.
It is my belief that everyone has one form of addiction or another, and mine is Disney. It's my go to vacation spot and movie for any occasion. I've memorized almost every song, and I've grown up on Toy Story pretty much. What can I say? It makes me really happy!

One of my favorite rides ever <3

I love rainy days. The fog, the clouds, the cold and then getting nice and warm. Peppermint hot chocolate tops it all off.
I must warn you: I tend to ramble. I'm invested in a ton of fandoms, so just brace yourself for a lot of ramblings and rants about them.
Random fact: My favorite color is blue, any shade, especially when paired with silver.
Everyone needs music, especially if you write. It has nearly tripled my creative process, so I would highly recommend it. I play violin, have been for about five years. Thus, I've fallen in love with soundtracks and it's hands down my favorite thing to play.
But my go to music, for any mood, is Two Steps from Hell. The music is all composed by Thomas Bergerson and Nick Phoenix, and I'm convinced they've somehow transcended the human plane of music. They're part of the reason I write to begin with. Fun fact: My main theme for my stories is Dragon Rider by the aforementioned Two Steps from Hell. These guys are for you if you love music combined with epicness (and yes, spell check, I deem that a word).
My life theme, for me personally, is In Christ Alone/ Solid Rock by the Promise Keepers.

For those who may be wondering, my Hogwarts house is Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff pride!! And you'll find I am no pushover.
